- Applicants with university degree obtained outside the UAE, are required to submit an Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) – General with Grade Average for US institutions evaluation when applying to evaluate the transcripts and have a standard GPA (http://www.ece.org)
- *If accepted, student must take a maximum of nine credit hours of courses during the period of conditional admission and must achieve a minimum cGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in these nine credits of courses studied or be subject to dismissal.

You will receive an application number when you create a login account. Please save your application number and use it in all communication with the admissions team. It is the formal unique identifier of your application to MBRU. Shortlisted applicants will receive an email communication for the next stage of admission process.

How can I apply?
Applications to the MScHPE and PGDipHPE programs can only be submitted through our online application portal. Applications are only accepted during the open application period. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered after the deadline, and interested applicants are invited to apply for the next academic year. For your application to be considered complete, you will need to submit your online application, upload all supporting documents, and pay the non-refundable application fee of AED 1050 (1000AED + 5 % VAT).
How does the admission process work?
Please note that for your application to be considered, you must complete the online application, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee. An experienced panel of MBRU faculty and staff will then review completed applications and shortlist qualified candidates. Selection will be based on the applicant’s academic and professional credentials as well as the motivational letter.
What does the admissions committee evaluate when making admissions decisions?
Previous academic and/or professional experience are the main criteria for evaluation. However, communication skills and personality characteristics are also taken into consideration. English proficiency is a mandatory requirement.
What resources will I have access to?
You will have access to the Al Maktoum Medical Library, various digital learning resources in the Digital Design Lab, and the largest fully accredited medical simulation center in Dubai, the Khalaf Ahmed Al Habtoor Medical Simulation Center.

When am I required to attend classes?
The graduate programs in HPE are blended, so there are requirements for attendance on campus and online. Typically, online classes will take place on Friday mornings, and on campus classes will take place on Saturdays. The HPE700 and HPE707 courses will require a full week on campus at the start of the course.
