Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences Announces New Scholarship Opportunities for Medical Students
Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) is keen to attract talented students and support their educational journey. Aligned with MBRU’s value of giving, the University is excited to announce the creation of two scholarship programs beginning in the academic year 2018/2019.
The first scholarship is the Future Doctors Scholarship Program, which provides the top ten ranked students in each cohort of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program, including incoming cohorts, with a 30 percent discount on their annual tuition fees.
The second is the Jood Scholarship Program, which provides ten students with a demonstrated financial need, in each cohort of the MBBS program, up to 50 percent off on their annual tuition fees.
The two scholarship opportunities will be available to all students enrolled in the MBBS program at MBRU’s College of Medicine. Applications to the College of Medicine will close on January 15, 2018.
MBRU is proud to introduce the scholarship schemes in line with the Year of Giving. Professor Alawi Alsheikh-Ali, dean of the College of Medicine commented, “We’re very excited about the newly introduced scholarship opportunities. We believe in doing the most we can for our current and prospective students. We hope to introduce additional schemes as we welcome more cohorts in the future.”
Further details about the Future Doctors and Jood Scholarship programs will be announced by March of 2018. For additional information on MBRU’s tuition fees and its scholarship opportunities contact the Department of Student Services and Registration at admissions@mbru.ac.ae.
