MBRU connects with students and next generation of UAE’s healthcare professionals at NAJAH 2018
Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences (MBRU) connected with students seeking to embark on their higher education learning journey at the 2018 edition of NAJAH, a leading higher education event in the UAE, which took place this week at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
Held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Tolerance and UAE Cabinet Member, NAJAH 2018 presented students who visited the MBRU stand with a unique opportunity to discover more about MBRU, the first medical university in Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), and its undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
The 2018 edition is the third year in a row that MBRU has participated in NAJAH, equipping local and international students with in-depth knowledge of the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program available through MBRU’s College of Medicine, and the postgraduate dental specialist program at the institute’s Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine.
Participation in the immersive higher education event, which was officially opened by H.E Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan on 31 October, aligns with MBRU’s mission to advance health in the UAE and the region, through an innovative and integrated health system that responds to the needs of the nation and is globally connected.
Ahmed Al Awadhi, senior director of student services and registration at MBRU, said: “This is our third time at NAJAH, which is now an important event in our calendar to engage with students and expand our educational offerings and community outreach. There is always a high level of interest from students, particularly in our MBBS program, largely because of our home-grown innovative curriculum, early clinical exposure, research emphasis and access to advanced learning resources such as our renowned simulation center.”
“NAJAH represents the perfect platform to connect with the student community across the UAE and provide them access to qualified academics, healthcare professionals and highly-skilled faculty who can enhance their educational journey. We look forward to engaging with many students during the coming days,” added Nujood Al Khloofi, communications and external relations director.
The MBRU stand at NAJAH 2018 is located at Hall 3, Stand C20 in ADNEC.
