MBRU Alumni, Dr. Ameirah Saeed Alyammahi, had her thesis, “Effectiveness of extraction of primary canines for interceptive management of palatally displaced permanent canines: a systematic review and meta-analysis”, published in the European Journal of Orthodontics.

Dr. Ameirah is a recent graduate from the Master of Science in Orthodontics Program from Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine (HBMCDM), and currently works at the Ministry of Health and Prevention. She had her thesis published jointly with her supervisors, Professor Athanasios Athanasiou and Dr. Eleftherios G. Kaklamanos, as co-authors.

The European Journal of Orthodontics is in the top 10% of dentistry journals based on Scopus, which makes Dr. Ameirah the second Resident at HBMCDM to publish in an Impact Factor journal
