The general surgery program is a prestigious program established in 2009. The residents that graduated from our program have joined prestigious fellowships worldwide and joined institutions as leaders in general surgery and its subspecialities.
Our Program as part of the graduate medical education at Mohammed bin Rashid university is designed to provide you with a comprehensive, well rounded, and rigorous education in general surgery. You will gain hands-on experience in diverse surgical specialties, from complex trauma care, since our main teaching hospital Rashid hospital is the biggest and busiest trauma center in the city of Dubai, to minimally invasive procedures in the subspecialities of bariatric and colorectal surgery. You will join a team of experienced surgeons and educators from a colorful and diverse background who are committed to shaping the future leaders of surgery. Our faculty members bring a diverse wealth of knowledge, providing mentorship and guidance throughout your residency.
