Program Director Message
Welcome to the Adult Hematology Fellowship Program. We appreciate your interest and hope that this site gives you a sense of our mission and approach to fellowship training program. The mission of the program is to develop leaders in the field of Hematology who would be able to advance the foundation of Hematology and its applications to medicine in academic, governmental, private practice and industry.
Our Fellowship offers outstanding training for future specialists in the field of Hematology. The Program also has comprehensive research activity across most areas of Clinical Hematology. The program includes excellent clinical training to develop expertise in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of all aspects of Hematological disorders in both benign and malignant hematology. This will be through the supervised care of inpatients, consults, and outpatient care in the continuity clinic.
Dubai Health Faculty is committed to teaching and facilitating the growth of medical knowledge. Throughout the training program, there will be various lectures, seminars, tumor board, MDTs as well as journal club meetings.
Fellows are encouraged to participate in research and are expected to identify a potential area of research interest which they can develop during the second year. This can be done under the direction of a member of the Hematology Faculty. It is anticipated that research projects will develop data which can be presented at National or International meetings and results in publication in the form of abstracts or papers in journals.
Fellows have access to Hematology journals, text books as well as question banks.
Explore our website for specific information on the fellowship’s curriculum and application process. We look forward to hearing from you!
