
Meshal A. Sultan
Meshal A. Sultan obtained his medical degree at the United Arab Emirates University. He completed general psychiatry training at the University of Ottawa, and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Prior to joining MBRU he was a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist at Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital.
He is the inaugural chair of the scientific committee for child and adolescent psychiatry at the National Institute for Health Specialties (NIHS) in the UAE. He is interested in medical education, and research related to risk factors of psychiatric disorders, enhancing accuracy of assessments, and collaborative care models.
