At Hamdan Bin Mohammed College of Dental Medicine (HBMCDM) we aim to provide a nurturing environment for current and future leaders in dentistry through a contemporary and evolving curriculum centered in evidence-based patient care, critical thinking, and life-long learning. Our college is home to five full-time postgraduate dental programs, all of which are accredited by the Ministry of Education in the UAE, leading to the eligibility for the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) specialty membership examinations. Upon graduation, all our postgraduate dental students are recognized as specialists in the UAE. Non-national graduates will be required to take the specialist license exam. At HBMCDM, our postgraduate dental students will benefit from a unique curriculum and practice through Dubai Dental Hospital, our academic affiliate. Dubai Dental Hospital is instituted to provide the highest standards of dental care for the community, while being supported by world-leading learning resources such as Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor Medical Simulation Center and the fully resourced Al Maktoum Medical Library.

Application to the postgraduate program can only be submitted through our online application portal. Application to the program will open on October 15th, 2019 and will close on March 1st, 2020.
For your application to be complete, you will need to submit the online application here, upload all supporting documents and pay the non-refundable application fee of of AED. 1,050 – (AED 1000 + 5% VAT).
Please note that for your application to be considered, you must complete the online application, upload the required documents, and pay the application fee. An experienced panel of MBRU faculty and staff will then review completed applications and shortlist qualified candidates. Qualified short-listed candidates will be invited for interviews planned for mid-April. Selection will be based on the applicant’s academic and professional credentials as well as performance in the assessment interview. Ranked applicants will be sent conditional offers by early May.
Undergraduate studies performance, letters of recommendation, previous academic and / or professional experience are the main criteria for evaluation. However, teamwork, communication skills and personality characteristics are also taken into consideration. English proficiency is a mandatory requirement.
At HBMCDM, postgraduate students are not eligible for stipends.
